201 Grade Stainless Steel Clothes Pegs

$19.95

Stainless Steel Clothes pegs — the best eco friendly clothes pegs on the market!

It’s recommended that Grade 201 Wire clothes pegs be removed from the line after use as leaving the steel pegs outside on the clothes line may aid in the peg developing surface rust. If you’d like to leave your wire pegs on the clothes line after you’ve removed your laundry, or you live close to the ocean it’s best to opt for the more durable 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel variety. Made from high quality stainless steel wire!

The 201 Grade Stainless Steel Clothes pegs come packaged in a double drawstring cotton bag (40 pegs). Each peg is 58mm (L) x 1.75mm (D). Unlike plastic pegs, these metal clothes pegs won’t break down due to the harsh Australian heat, nor will they fall apart in your hands. The entire stainless steel wire clothes peg is made up of just one single piece of wire.

Wire pegs are the best eco-friendly choice for your clothes line.

Are metal clothes pegs suitable for windy conditions?

Any of the metal clothes pegs, regardless of the grade of stainless steel you choose, will hold up well in windy environments. Although they are gentle on your clothes they will hold tight to the line.

Do metal pegs get hot to touch?

It’s an obvious question to be concerned about. Nobody wants a peg that’s going to burn their fingertips when removing it from the clothes line! If this is your concern, you can rest easy. EORTH have tested these wire pegs in the tropical FNQ 40+ degree summer, and we can happily report we don’t have any burnt skin on the tips of our fingers! As the peg is only made from a thin single wire loop, rather than a full metal area, the air is able to flow through the wire peg, allowing it to stay cool to the touch.

Do Stainless Steel Pegs rust?

If you live in close proximity to the ocean, the 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Pegs would be more suitable, as they are the highest grade stainless steel wire peg available. Should you encounter any surface rust on your pegs you can soak them in a CLR solution to remove the rust.

How many stainless steel pegs should I buy?

A bag of 40 stainless steel pegs would be suitable for small loads of laundry. If you do a lot of large loads of laundry then you’ll want at least two bags of pegs for your laundry.

Stainless Steel Pegs

Great. Here's how to make it even better! Put rubber bits on the end for grip. As your fingers get damp putting washing out they are slippery and are hard to pinch. The rubber will ''corrode' over time but an alternative would be great... there you go.. Think of me when you make more money.

Love these Pegs

I wish I made the switch earlier, I was forever buying new pegs due to them breaking down from always being in the sun, the pegs are a game changer and are easy to use.
