(Recommended viewing for best results!). The Recipe: Quick Steps Mix 1½ cups of flour and ¼ tsp salt in a bowl. Drizzle 3 tablespoons of oil over the flour and mix. Slowly add up to 1 cup of warm water, mixing until a firm but pliable dough ball forms. Knead the dough for approx. 5 mins. Cover the dough and let it rest for at least ½ hour. Divide it into small balls, cover and rest again for 15 mins. Flatten each ball and roll it out into a small, round taco shell. Cook in a dry, hot pan, until bubbles form, flip and cook for a few minutes on the other side until lightly browned. Pro Tip: Skip the plastic wrap—just use a tea towel to cover the dough while it rests!
